Tango 1 (All About The Basics)

This progressive course is designed for beginners or those wishing to review Traditional Argentine Tango’s basics.

Classes are held every Thursday from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
(The new course starts Thursday, February 6th)

This course will cover specific fundamentals over four months. Each month, we will work on the basics, technique, musicality, Tango etiquette, and foundation for social dancing. By the end of this program, you’ll have all the essential skills needed to advance to the intermediate level.
We emphasize the importance of the human connection within the dance and with your partner.

We are confident in the efficiency of our program, as many students have successfully become Argentine tango social dancers.

1. El Abraso: The technical and human embrace (The Hug), which consists of different points of contact that connect the torso, arms, and hands in the form of a circular shape

2. The Tango Walk: This is the foundation of Traditional Argentine Tango

3. The Human Connection: Be present and stay present by allowing yourself to connect with your partner, music, and body movement

4. Musicality: Rhythm, melody, silence, and expression
