Every Thursday from 8 pm to 9:3- pm
In this intermediate/advanced class, we will work on a specific topic in four consecutive classes. In each class, we will focus on individual layers based on the subject of the course and take the time to dive into the elements that create the sequence of the most popular combinations that are acceptable on the dance floor.
The following are some of the details that will be applied in the classes:
- Work on perfecting and shaping the tango embrace, lines, elegant walk, and body awareness.
- Floor navigation skills: dancing complex sequences in confined spaces.
- Fine-tuning connection and body awareness while mastering combinations and their components.
- “Dancing the silence” – mastering pauses and utilizing pausing to allow your partner to embellish.
- Musicality: dancing to different tango orchestras and understanding the difference between melodic and rhythmic beats.
